Hanes Shares the Comfort and Warmth this Holiday Season

Once again, Hanes is putting their best foot forward to help those in need with their Annual Hanes Virtual Sock Drive, a social charitable initiative. Since 2009, Hanes has donated 1.7 million individual socks and with the help of their Facebook friends, hopes to donate an additional 250,000 pairs this year! All donated socks will be given to Salvation Army locations across the United States.

To help Hanes Share the Comfort, visit the Sock Drive on Facebook, and click “Donate Now”. Each click equals one pair, so head on over before the Sock Drive ends on December 12th.

Keep A Child Alive’s Black Ball

On November 3, 2011, New York City will play home to the annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball which brings celebrity and philanthropy together to fulfill the hopes, dreams and raise funds for children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Hosted by KCA co-founder Alicia Keys, this event takes place in New York and in London and has raised over $13 million since 2004.

Night Agency has long been involved with Keep A Child Alive (KCA), and is extremely proud to work with and support this remarkable organization. We encourage anyone interested in this cause to get involved, and support KCA by attending the annual Black Ball. This year, host Alicia Keys and KCA will honor the spiritual, musical and philanthropic legacy of George Harrison with performances by Alicia Keys, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Will.I.Am, Norah Jones,  and many others. Here is a clip from last year:

Keds wants to know, How Do You Do?

Keds has kicked off their cross-country “How Do You Do?” Road Trip Tour. They’re visiting several cities and college campuses around the country, so be sure to check out the Tour stops to see when they’ll be in your neck of the woods.

For those not on the map, or anyone looking to customize their own pair of Keds, the HDYD Your City design contest has begun. Check it out on the HDYD Your City Tab. Design your own Keds Champion and show us what inspires you about your city. The winner will receive $1,000 for themselves and a $5,000 donation to a local art-based charity of their choice.

Hanes #2 Most Explosive Brand on Facebook!

Wow! Only a week after announcing their second annual Sock Drive to benefit the nation’s homeless, Hanes has been named this week’s #2 most explosive brand on Facebook. According to AllFacebook.com, Hanes received 289,618 new fans last week due to their holiday promotion with The Salvation Army. Well deserved!

“Like” the Hanes Facebook page to get more information on how to get involved this holiday season. For each person who “likes” Hanes on Facebook, Hanes will donate one pair of socks to the Salvation Army. Help Hanes reach their goal of 500,000 donated pairs of socks by visiting Facebook.com/Hanes.

Hanes Launches Virtual Sock Drive

Hanes is kicking off December the right way by getting into the holiday spirit and launching their second annual virtual sock drive!

For each person who “likes” Hanes on Facebook and clicks “Help Hanes Donate,” the brand will donate one pair of actual socks to The Salvation Army.

This year, Hanes wants to exceed last year’s pledge of 100,000 pairs and donate 500,000 pairs of socks! All donated socks will be given to The Salvation Army locations across the United States.
